Team fortress 2 updating slow

The book was published by Dark Horse Comics, and released on November 16, 2011.

As with the first Left 4 Dead game, most of the TF2 team has moved over to help out Left 4 Dead 2 get through its final shipping steps.

When starting the game, the menu background shows but it takes rather long for the menu to actually appear, compared to the Windows version.

The Quake one I understand because TF was originally a Quake Mod but the others don't need to add hats.

This is a well known issue I believe but it still has to be reported. It often takes 2 minutes or more even on my 1-year old desktop computer.

I mean really, a few promos is okay but this is really getting annoying.
